The K notch filter is used to help reduce unwanted false alerts from vehicles that use Radar for their Computer-Aided Safety (CAS), such as Blindspot Monitoring (BSM), Lane-Change Assistance, and Collision Sensors.

Narrowly carve out and ignore K-band alerts from the 24.190 GHz to 24.210 GHz frequency range.
- The default is OFF, and we suggest only turning it ON, if necessary, as it does create some potential vulnerability to a speeding citation by lowering sensitivity to that portion of the bandwidth.
