If your detector is equipped with Wi-Fi (typically designated by a C in the model name, e.g. Max 360C) the updates will be automatically offered to the device when available once the detector connects to a known Wi-Fi network (a mobile data plan is required). If your device has no Wi-Fi on board, you would need to download the “Detector Tools Classic OR Pro” (device specific) software program from our website (Update My Device). Once downloaded and installed, you can proceed with connecting your detector to your PC with a mini USB cable  (typically not included), and then open that application to update your device and/or database.
